Robotics Engineering: Programming Mindstorms

Description: Explore what makes a robot tick in this introduction to programming robots. Students use the LEGO Mindstorms NXT and NXT-G Programming Environment to get robots sensing, thinking, and moving about. This workshop includes an introduction to artificial intelligence research at MIT and a guided tour of the Robots and Beyond gallery.

This workshop is offered year-round at the MIT Museum, Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.

Each robotics workshop is 2 hours long and includes a tour of the Museum's Robotics and Beyond exhibition (on view until August 13, 2018). Workshops are offered year-round at the MIT Museum, Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.


Fee Information: $325/25 students; 1 chaperone/8 students required (admitted free)
Limited scholarships available for Title 1 groups and others that can provide documentation of need.
