Description: Berkshire STEM Educators Conference innovative teaching methods and lesson ideas through workshops led by inspirational teachers and educators from throughout Berkshire County and surrounding communities. The conference, held each year at Berkshire Community College or MCLA, is a place to network with teachers doing exciting environmental science projects and meet professional environmental educators who can support teachers in their classroom work. This is a day long conference held yearly at Berkshire Community College. The event runs from 8 am to 2:30 pm. This year it will be held in January of 2017.

STEM workshops offering training in teaching methods, hands-on activities, and lesson plans and other materials. A certificate for 6 hours of PDP is available for teachers seeking credit toward the minimum of 10 hours required for PDP re-certification credit).

Fee Information: Program is free for all teachers and workshop presenters based on grant funding.
