Trees are Terrific

Description: While exploring the trails of Moose Hill, students come to learn how to classify trees and observe the life cycle. Through observations and role-play, students will discover how trees change through the seasons. Groups may choose to learn about tree anatomy or how to use a simple key for tree identification.

This is a two-hour program. Significant savings are offered when you select a second program to create a full-day of hands-on learning at Moose Hill. This program combines well with Habitat Hunt, Native American Life, Tracks and Traces, Rock On or Maple Sugaring.

Fee Information: $7.50 per child; $7.50 per adult.
This 2-hour program may be combined with another program to create a full-day of hands-on learning. Full day programs are offered at a significant savings. Full day rates start at $11.50 per student and depend upon the programs selected. We provide a ratio of one Moose Hill teacher naturalist per 12 to 14 students. We can serve up to 130 students for full day programs. One adult (teacher or chaperone) is free for every 6 students; additional adults are charged the student rate. The minimum fee is based on 10 participants per Moose Hill teacher naturalist scheduled for your program. Contact the Moose Hill education coordinator to learn more and to schedule your program.
