Description: In this in depth, multi-session program, we spend time in our pre-visits playing games and looking at animals and learning about their specific adaptations. A field trip to Broad Meadow Brook helps us understand their habitats and why specific adaptations are important. In the post visit, students create a creature (real or imaginary) out of recycled materials with specific adaptations. Students finish the program by starting a writing assignment about their creature.
